Fun Focused | Ages U5-U7

U5 FESTIVAL

  • Focuses on play, fun and enjoyment. Introductory to soccer, Canada Soccer recommended.
  • Kids rotate through short small-sided games and activity stations that build basic skills like running, kicking, dribbling, and balance. The goal is to help young players learn the basics, gain confidence, and have fun in a positive, welcoming environment. No games except for at an activity station.
  • Twice a week. (one weekday, one Saturday)
  • Includes jersey, shorts, socks, water bottle + ball to keep.
  • Medals at end of season.

U7 FESTIVAL & GAME

  • Focuses on play, fun and enjoyment. Introductory to soccer, Canada Soccer recommended.
  • Kids rotate through short small-sided games and activity stations that build basic skills like running, kicking, dribbling, and balance. The goal is to help young players learn the basics, gain confidence, and have fun in a positive, welcoming environment.
  • Practice day (week day) is festival, Saturday is game day where the kids can put their skills to work.
  • Includes jersey, shorts, socks, water bottle + ball to keep.
  • Medals at end of season.

House League

Competitive (less) | Ages U9-U11

  • 1 practice per week + Saturday games.
  • Saturday games have trained refs.
  • All play in High River vs other High River teams.
  • Aimed for fun-focused players.
  • U9 & U11 players receive a team shirt, water bottle + ball to keep.
  • Playoffs and medals at end of season.

high country League

Competitive (more) | Ages U9-U17

  • Competes in High Country League. Half the games are home, half away.
    -Play verse Okotoks, Vulcan, Nanton, Diamond Valley, Millarville and Redwood Meadows.
    -Home field for U9&U11 is Senator Riley School. Home field for U13&U15/17 is Holy Spirit Academy. 
  • Aimed for more competitive players. Experienced volunteer coaches.
  • End of season playoffs held in Okotoks.
  • U9-U13: 1 practice, 1 game per week. U15/17: 2 practices, 1 game per week.
  • Carpool available for away games.
  • Shorts, socks, ball & water bottle provided to keep. Jersey will be provided, but to be returned.

Non-Competitive Indoor League

⚽ Fun, inclusive, co-ed program (U5–U17)
✔ Great for all skill levels - beginners to experienced players
✔ Stay active between outdoor seasons
✔ Focus on skill development, teamwork, and having fun
✔ One session per week
✔ Occasional friendlies (U9+)
        -Please note, games are limited and dependent on Okotoks availability (Saturdays)
✔ January tournament for U9+
        -Based on availability of the tournament
✔ Every player receives a ball to keep

What you’ll need: shinpads, soccer socks, indoor shoes
